This is a song that I still listen to in awe as Rahatji mellifluously nails it... One of my favorite singers.
Great composition that gives the singer a lot of opportunities to exhibit his talent without being masked by the back ground music.
Here is my take on it. Let me know what you feel.

Awesome rendition Karthik. I just loved the ending of the 1st charanam. I felt that you were a little strained on the higer notes of the swarams part though. overall excellent job and i just loved it.
ReplyDeleteKarthik that was wonderful singing. I am sure you are destined to make it BIG in music world. I will tell my friends, I knew him from his Blogger days!! Asirwadhams.
ReplyDeletewow............i love this song..........
ReplyDeletefor your next recording pls consider this also as one of your choices 'Aaoge jab tum o sajna' from Jab we met sung by ustad rashid khan.............
This is pure brilliance. Keep it up ! ~ Varshita
ReplyDeleteLoved this song.. one feedback, the portion where you sing the swarams sound more like Carnatic and less Hindustani as Rahat renders it. Am only saying this because I heard him live two weeks back and he presented this song there!
ReplyDeleteAny chance you can take some light Hindustani training like Sudha did? But your voice is amazing and your diction is good too!
