Sudha, my wife, began her musical endeavor when she was 5, under the esteemed tutelage of late Smt.Malathy Rama Varma in Cochin, India. Sudha performed her arangetram (formal initiation to a full fledged classical musical concert), at the age of 12 at the Ravipuram Krishna temple in Cochin. With ample encouragement, opportunities and support from her parents and her alma mater, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Sudha participated and excelled in numerous singing competitions in and around Cochin at the district and state levels. Later she was initiated to the art of Namasankeerthanam by her gurus Smt.Lalitha Suryanarayanan and Sri.Suryanarayanan. Since then, she has been actively involved in singing Sampradaya bhajans and Ashtapathis in many temples in and around Cochin by being part of the 'Pandurang Bhajan Mandali'. Sudhas' father - her prime motivator and guide - gave her the realization that musical talent is God's benediction to sing His glories through Namasankeerthanam and acquire peace of mind through the spiritual connection.
Sudha also likes singing cinema music and can sing fluently in Tamizh, Malayalam and Hindi. She eagerly looks forward to receiving healthy feedback from all listeners
